Apologies were received from
David Beale. Carer responsibilities for his wife Trish prevailed.
Peter Illidge. A late scratching, stuck in Mt Magnet with alternator problems.
Don Stewart Family commitments in Dunsborough.
Bob Williams Still travelling

A few other regulars are also away and were not able to respond.
We received a short update from Ian and JQ on their career paths and some anecdotes from their respective roles as a senior bureaucrat and an Airline Captain flying with an international carrier. It was good to hear from them and all appreciated that they had made the effort to visit and attend the lunch. Good to see John Brazier with us and Ian Marshall. Tom Hollingsworth made the trip up from the deep south and we were joined by several chaps we had not seen for a while.. Others had plenty to say and there was no shortage of animated conversations. We had the venue to ourselves and were well looked after by the NGC staff and all enjoyed the reasonably priced menu.

The last lunch for the year will be the Christmas lunch at NGC on Friday 8th December.

Make sure it is in your diary!
