Isaiah Butters (’19) has been recruited by the Dockers, joining his boarding colleague Liam Henry (’19) whose selection was announced in the last newsletter. Albert Smith (’18) finished first with his UWA team at the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Regionals held in November and will represent Australia at the ICPC Finals in Moscow in June. ICPC is the oldest and most prestigious competitive programming event worldwide. Mark Crawford (’11) has signed with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team on a full scholarship. Rob Coales (’93) has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Army Reserve, posted to the Western Australian Army Cadet Brigade as Deputy Commander. Tony Jones (’62) invites old boys and partners to join a Sculpture at Bathers Sunset Artist tour on Wednesday 19 February, 6:00 – 8:00pm. The tour, led by Tony, will include highlights of the exhibition. Following the tour, chat with the artist in an informal setting whilst enjoying a glass of wine and finger food as the sun goes down over the ocean and stay on to enjoy our feature light show as darkness takes over.
