The annual Old Boys’ Lunch, Vine to Wine, was highly acclaimed by guests of all ages with success attributed to the panel of speakers, superb wine and refreshments that followed at the Tiger Bar. “A fantastic afternoon was had by all learning about wine from five renowned wine industry operators over a lovely three-course lunch at the new Claremont Football Club,” said Rhett Marron (’96). Young and senior old boys were well represented at the lunch which attracted 139 old boys. Special thanks to Richard Burch (’03) of Howard Park Wines, Phil Hutchison (’96) of Leeuwin Estate, Murray McHenry (’67) of McHenry Hohnen and current Christ Church parents Larry Cherubino and Blair Hill, for sharing insights of wine industry trends.
