OLD BOYS' HISTORY
A proud legacy of connection, community, and tradition since 1917.
The Christ Church Grammar School Old Boys' Association was founded in 1917, just five years after the school's establishment in 1912. The association was created to maintain lifelong connections between former students and their alma mater, fostering a strong alumni network that supports both graduates and the school community.
Over the decades, the OBA has grown significantly, reflecting the expansion of the school and the increasing number of graduates. The association plays a key role in organising reunions, networking events, and mentoring opportunities while also supporting school initiatives.
One of the OBA's proudest traditions is its commitment to Life Membership, ensuring ongoing engagement with the school. The association also recognises distinguished Old Boys through various awards and events, celebrating their achievements in diverse fields such as business, sport, academia, and public service.
In recent years, the OBA has expanded its reach, launching initiatives like the Young Old Boys' programs and the Business Networking Series. The association continues to evolve, adapting to the needs of its members while upholding the traditions and values of Christ Church Grammar School.
