Community Bike Ride
In April the School will be hosting a community bike ride for experienced riders, followed by a whole of community get together. Old Boys are encouraged to join the ride and/or greet the riders at the finish lineThis week Alan put the new riding tops to the test. Watch this space for details about the event and how to secure a specially designed riding top.
Father Frank Sheehan Award
Within hours of returning from The Philippines, Dr Grant Fergusson Stewart (’56) joined the CCGS senior assembly where he was honoured as the inaugural recipient of the Father Frank Sheehan Award for Service to the Community. Old boys interested in contributing to the support program are encouraged to contact Grant for further information (details available through the Alumni Office). Congratulations Grant on your extraordinary achievements and recognition bestowed on you by the School.
Extract from the Constitution of the Old Boys' Association
The principal objects of the Association shall be:
(a) To further the interests of Christ Church Grammar School (the School); and
(b) To support and foster the school and the activities of its students and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for sporting, scientific, educational and cultural development at the school and in the provision of career awareness programmes and employment opportunities for its students; and in addition the association shall encourage social interaction between its members.
